dbox2 with lycsat problem

hi i have a sagem dbox2 with Lincsat.Beta7.25-Full.1x.301108.img
on it i live near blackpool so im on the telpest ive got some chanels to work like sky movies and sky sports 1 and 2 but carnt get chanel 4 or 3 or five or sky sports 3 and prob some more any help on this im pritty new to this

so u set ur location and scanned? if so fast scan? how many transponders / tv channels.....edited the bouquets

yes nearest to me is preston still telewest sym6887 and no transponders

I know that the fast scan is a brilliant addition to the dbox but it isn't infallible.

Turn fast scan off and do a whole scan of uk cable.
That will be 6952 and 6887. Although ex-telepest was 6952

I have the joys of scanning 303 transponders in slow mode because the frequencies for my area are wrong on the fast scan. Yippee! takes about half an hour to do a whole scan.

done that it scand all 303 but now i can get some chanels like sky movies and sky sports 1/2 but still not chanel 4 and chanel 3 and some others signal is good i can get my starview on and thats fine

is there a way of finding out the transponder frequencies for the missing channels using the starview.....if so check ur dbox cables.xml file has these frequencies - likely to be in /share/tuxbox.....chk your service.xml to see if u have picked up these frequencies - in /var/tuxbox/config/zapit

there were a few errors in the sml and fastscan features which have been corrected in recent imgs.....what area r u? and what img do u use? check ur service file to see if ur 6887 or 6952..

Try the box direct to the wall no splitters or Antenuators
Or rescan at another location
Once found
The box will keep them ................Paul

chk dbox - settings - driver & boot - spts mode off

if not that try different ucode

hello thanks to all i have now sorted it out what i did was start all over again got my lycsat file from chatterbox then flashed my box then did the scan all on virgin option not fast scan then left it sky sports channel and now i have all channels working but now how do i sort the chanels out into order thanks to everyone that help me sort this out
