    BER/Bitrate

Can anyone explain why there can be such a vast difference in the Ber/Bitrate on different channels which causes freezing
    For example:

    S?y 1 min 130 max 1140 Bitrate 1503> 3712
    S?y 2 min 100000 max 262143 Bitrate 0> 5306
    Other channels vary also

Transponders on the higher Frequencies tend to expose the weaknesses in your cabling, splitters and connections departments, m8!

See if it still gives similar readings with the box connected directly to the wall point with a known-good patch lead, that itself is a nice tight fit (internally, on the copper conductor centre part- and externally, on the outer screened section of the co-ax plug) into the Antenna co-ax socket on the back of the box.

    Cheers- AL

      Hi Al,

Checked the connectors and they are fine, tried directly into the wall point , no difference.
S?y 1 freq is 451.790Mhz and is ok
      S?y 2 is 243.790Mhz and is unwatchable
      Any other ideas m8?

Same question to both of you: are your subbed boxes working OK?

          If not...

If you don't have a subbed box to guarantee line quality, why?
