Location !!!

Hi guys can you tel me what to set my location to for Handforth Cheshire, i am useing Laky stylas 1x but there is not a location for this area in the menu thanks.

no - 1 should find channels the other won't

Ok guys i have tried all the Manchester settings and now i have loat sky News and a load of the movies, even done rescans on all the Manchester locations but no joy.

post ur service file....i've got a manchester 1 service file from late last year - i'll compare

and i also have a south Manchester if this helps

In the dbox menu try to 'reload channel lists'. Also if you have bouquets set up check 'unsorted' or 'new channels' bouquet.
Sometimes after a fresh scan the channels are not in the bouquet that they were in before and could be in the unsorted section. Hope this helps

Still cant get Sky News and a load of film channels what should my location be if i nr to south Manchester but i come under Cheshire ???

Have you tried a slow scan (with Fast Scan 'off')?
I had a problem scanning with laky sylas when I set my location.
I flashed it with laky pro, did a slow scan (not set my location, possibly bruteforce scan, cannot remember exactly been a while!) and saved services and bouquets. Then I reflashed with laky sylas and transferred services and bouquet files over via ftp. Hope this helps
