    have 2 boxes running together

    hello,could somebody please clarify for me
    should i have my providers box plugged in aswell as my d box ?
    i was told that virg know when a box is not plugged in and connected and might therefore assume that im using another box

    Hi

    I have had my virgin box(original telewest)unplugged for over 4 years at the last hit in dec when updates changed was the first time it was re-connected took 20 mins to update still had telewest logo and once updated booted with virgin logo but does not need to be connected as long as you are paying subscription will remain on you dont need to have connected as most people have new tv's with freeview i assume most people view the basic chamnnels this way

      it's always been recommended to leave ur subbed box connected because as you say v*m may be puzzled y u aint using it...also handy for the interactive stuff

        i thought i read somewhere on here that it was a good idea to leave it plugged in,so i now have just made up some leads to have both running,thanks for the info
