dbox newbee please help

i brought the sagem dbox 2 of someone and after 4 months cant get any channels except the free ones my virgin box gets i dont understand flash this and keys that can anyone talk me through it in basic language step step guide how get the channles back, can go to them but blank screen and red box at bototm of tv says n/a hheeelpppppp as im all new to this.email is [email protected] and im in great yarmouth norfolk area

Welcome to the Forum M8 you will get all the help you need from everyone here but first thing is first do some browsing in the forum to understand how to go about setting up your dbox and as much reading as you can, as I said the help is in hand in this forum.

Try the scan again( have you tried that/found how to?).

where in notts are you? i can send you an image with everything you need,you should be able to use flash assitant
with a patch lead to do it although this method can be dodgy.Im in nottingham so all you'd have to do is flash the image and maybe change the area - nottingham 1 or 2. but it is worth working it all out as you might need to update in the future.I had a basic idea before but got loads of help here and everything runs fine now.
