ss enigma 4

hi, ive been trying out a few images and ive got to say they are great, the only one ive not been able to get up and running is ss enigma 4 (sagem x1 box), my feed is fine, everything is in the right folders etc but still i get no channels, not even the fta ones... is there a set my location option on this flash? i cant find it, its doing my head in now any help would be gratefully received..

Have you tried changing your ucode m8 i find that this sometimes helps with this image.

yes, ive tried all the different ucodes and cams with no joy, really like the look and feel of this image... maybe it just doesnt like my particular sagem box...

You could try converting your neutrino services and bouquets.xml files to enigma ones and transfer them to the box using bouquet wizard.

As fergal says, convert neutrino bouquets with bouquet wizard.

Also, you could try replacing the cables.xml in that image with this one, then reboot the box.

This will give you a sort of set my location option in the scan menu.

so you ARE getting FTA now? you've not installed the CAM then.

yes im getting FTA, cams keys etc are all installed in right places etc, still wont work though

i put roms+keys in /var/keys/ and emu in /var/bin/...

hmm... i'm not sure if it's different on enigma for the path to the emu - coudl you select it and activate it in the menu? did u check the emu's permissions were set to 755?

I take it you're using Cydine's fixed nagrarom7.bin file of 28 Nov 08, and not an older non-working version?

what cam have you put into /var/bin? what is it exactlly called!

You have pressed blue and selected the cam? Remember the blue button just lists cam start scripts, make sure you deffo have the cam and it is named correctlly.
