New to DBox 2

Hi all,

Just got a DBox 2 off a friend who loaded up the latest commando image onto it. Have got it setup to scan and found all the channels but obviously all the encrypted ones have got the Key Symbol when we go to them.

Can access the FTP section but just totally baffled what files to have in there! At the mo there's loads and loads and want to start from fresh so it's all tidy and working.

Want to download the guides but says I have to put up some posts until I can so here I am posting away!

For your info the box is for:

First of all get yourself a crossover cable then d/load this guide>>> Digital Kaos - Downloads - FlashFxp There is also the program you will need to transfer files to your box.

When you have figured out how to connect to your box, then go into your ftp program and connect to your box then go to var/k#ys and transfer this file >>>>

Now go to var/bin/emu and transfer this file >>>>>

After the file has transferred right click on evocamd then scroll down to attributes(chmod) then left click on it then change the attributes to 755 then press ok.

Now reboot your box. If you have already done a scan then put on sly sports 1 until it clears 5 mins max.
If you have not done a scan then set your location by pressing the blue button and set your location to your area then save your box will now reboot.
After the box as rebooted press the dbox button and then press on dbox service then on service scan then on start scan now your scan will start. After the scan as finished then put on sly sports 1 until it clears 5mins max.

Need get a few more now for the rest the house, there a good for sale section on here or anyone recommended that usually has a few lying around.
