what is the best image ?

hi all what is the best image for a nokia d-box2.
i have sportster pro 1.02

can sume one tell me if i instal a new image will i need new services and cable xml.

If you flash a new image, yes you will need to scan for channels and setup your bouquets.

Back them up before you flash and then you can copy them over to the new image.

/var/tuxbox/config/zapit/services.xml
/var/tuxbox/config/zapit/bouquets.xml

Once you copy them over, go to...

Dbox > Service Menu > Reload channels

I have always liked andromeda 2...been my fave since it came out !!

when i scan for chanels and then save them when the box is switched off then on no chaneles

Andromeda 2 is the name of an image.

Sounds like your box has gone into read-only mode and isn't saving settings. Reflash and you should be ok.

I have been using Andromeda and Blade on Nokia two times found that some boxes prefer different Images no reason why just try a few to find out what works the best
