dbox help

hi guys, i have just came across a dbox that my dad used to use (now has a eurovox) ive plugges it in but get no channels. ive had a read about and they seem a lot more complicated than the euro. anyone got any simple instruction?

nothings simple with db mate its a case of read lots of posts and pick out what you need to get it running. its all there just need half a day spare, best start here Cable Dreambox

it wont be a simple flash like your eurovox if thats what you thought. but its not behond anyone to do it as i said just need half a days reading. enjoy the sun

agree read all info on that box,and its not as hard as it seems. before you know it your be changing your image every ten mins

Have you still got the free to air channels(bbc1 bbc2, itv and channel 4)?????

Do you get any channels like BBC1.ITV ?
If not then check your cable feed first as it could be just a signal issue. As flashing the box with a new image is the last option it might be the k#ys file that needs updating if the box as been off since nov 2008

it cant be anything to do with keys if you cant even get FTA (bbc1 etc) check your cable feed as someone else advised
