Only FreeView Channels

Hello everyone Im new to this i have a dbox (nokia) Its got sportster 1.7+ uk05 i lost all channels so updated the keys to new ones rescaned channels and i got all the channels now this morning i switched on the box and i only get fta channels and the rest show a blank screen but you can see the programm info ive tried leaving it on sports 1 for a while but still nothing i dont know how to flash the image i know there are guides but im not too sure about the difference between dbox and dbox2 any help would be really appreciated

check the scart sockets. if it has 3 sockets, it's a dbox. 2 scarts and it's a dbox2.

if it's running a sportser image, i'd say it's a dbox2. you'll need the updated ROMS. see 1 of the other million threads in this section on that subject.

Thanks for the reply ive got the channels back now some how the keys changed themselves from what i had entered should have checked really. The next problem is the channels keep jumping and freezing any ideas

u updating the kys manually, if so add the au fix

jumping, freezing picture try diff emulator, mgcamd instead of evocamd or gbox if available....even if u add the au fix gbox will not au and u will have to update manually or flick back to evo for kys to update then switch back to gbox

try diff ucode if 001A try 0014 or vice versa....

search the menus for these

if none of these work try a diff img

Thanks for the help so far. I can view the files on the box from my pc but how do i edit/change them i cant copy and paste or drag and drop, Also i have both keys folder and scce folder where do i put the files thanks again for your help
Sorry ive sorted the editing bit i need to read a bit more my bad!
I still need to know where to put the auto update fix files if someone could help thanks.

u need to use an ftp proggy like flashfxp - files go in var/keys folder....overwrite only the same files that are there.....leave all other files there as u will still need some of these

If you want to test that all is AOK, just delete the keys file and reboot! If evocamd is running, it should AU within a minute or so (on encrypted channel) and recreate the Keylist.txt file you just deleted. Ditto for mgcamd, except it's keyfile is Softcam.Key

Go on, be brave- try it...
