Playing dbox2 on PC problem

Ive had the same problems that people are getting with DBoxTV. Dont get me wrong, its a great program and when it works...it works great..but when it doesnt work its a right pain in the ar$e .

I have been using neutrinoTV now for a few months and i cant fault it. For anyone interested in trying it, you can find it in the link below. Unfortunatly the site is in german but i reckon you can either use a free translator to 'decipher()' the page or i think firefox has an option to translate the page automatically.

Thanks for the above link stu666, i think ive set everything right on neutrinoTV i can change the channels via the software but no sound or video shos on the neutrinoTV software, all i get on that software screen is a picture of the VLC icon :S

And sorry for being a pain could you possibly point me to a guide of some sort.

Unfortunatly i dont have any guides for neutrino tv Funnyguy, i just winged it when i installed it and it worked . here is a link that will give you a translated version of the site, i think there should be some sort of guide there. Hope this helps you out.

and just get a TV card

Commando 11 VLC issue

There is thread over on ukcvs.org about C11 not working with vlc and that a fix was on the way, It may be worth waiting for Commando11.3 due to be released this weekend before giving up ( I am assuming the fix will be in that).

this is more to do with the version of vlc you have installed. yweb and neutrinotv seem only to work with versions no later that 0.8.6.i

you can download it from:
Download VLC Media Player 0.8.6i - Old Version.com

make sure to uninstall the old version first and to install the mozilla plugin when given the installation options if you're using firefox

tested this on xp and mac
