Nokia Dbox2 Not getting any channels

Im new to all this so please be cool with me.

I bought a nokia box from germany and when it arrived i flashed it with commando 10d x2 image i got from my friends working box. So all the keys, cams, etc are there already. Upon scanning for channels the box is getting 303 transponders and after finishing scanning them all, no TV or radio channels are found. ZERO.

Tried it on my friends feed and the result is the same.

Where am i going wrong? Is the tuner not getting the signal? or i need to put more files into the box.

Did you back the image up from his box properly.

The best bet would to manually ftp the files over so you know they are in the image.

When you transferd the back up image at your mates
Does it work there
No Need to scan at his location,should work right away
Try it direct to the wall no splitters
and report back ..................Paul

but at least i should be getting the channels then fail to view them.

isnt it that just an image without any keys, roms, cams, etc will scan and find channels?

my connection is direct to the wall. my mate is watching tv using the same image

Are you sure your box is the same as your m8s could be you need a 1x image when your m8s is 2x or vice versa.

where you getting any fta, if not it could be tuner probs. I had a prob like that and discovered my input connection to tuner was lose and got it re-soldered, but it done the same thing and when scanned got all transponders but no channels. Hope this helps a little.
