I have an old dbox 2
Question 1 how do I connect to it can it be done with DCC/or other and can it be done without RS232cable IE telenet (not a prob if not as I have the cable )
2nd question coz the box is old will it be just Standard def or both as HD was around when theses came out
3rd and last question (I hope) does any body still create new image's if so what the latest
and finaly can they take any S/C emu if this last bit is not allowed please delete

Most of the sw for the dreambox will work, as it is THE box that preceeded the DM, but yes you can connect without the rs 232 cable. DCC/FTP no problem. Dont think HD was around in 1990- so only sd. Image development has halted but the pinncle was and is commando 12. If you mean c/s -answer is yes.

hi I have got a nokia dbox2 and downloaded commando 12 and have managed to flash using null modem cable but says transpoder fail can anyone give me some pointers pls

yes you need to add the latest cables xml ,and latest scan.config
this will then give you accsess to the service provider your scanning for ,Hope this helps .............Paul
