    Commando 11- SP2 and a bit

Here's the new english.locale that works with the new SP2 neutrino binary.

FTP in and simply overwrite existing, which you'll find in /share/tuxbox/neutrino/locale/

    Then restart neutrino- voil?!

Sorry this was overlooked, but the new neutrino has a couple of new menu options that weren't catered for in your exisisting english.locale - hence why some of you might have noticed gobbledegook menu items here and there.

    Cheers- AL

    Thanks

Does this also fix the EPG issue?

SP1 and SP2 did that, m8- so apply them first, then finish off with this minor cosmetic tweak

Thanks to AH for reminding me, pmsl... I spotted this two weeks ago, then promptly forgot all about it! You'll also become amnesiac, when you reach my ripe old age, LOL!

LOL! In that case, thanks to Claret on A-F, gleefully reporting as AlienHeads over on DWZ that my updated english.locale is still not the full shilling...

Sussed it! A stupid schoolboy error on Copy 'n Paste, and serves me right for not thoroughly testing the new locale before broadcasting it! Egg on my face now...

              Hard one to debug though:
              Code:

              miscsettings.show_mute_icon_yes yes
              [COLOR=red]miscsettings.standby_save_power Standby power-save mode (exp)[/COLOR]
              miscsettings.shutdown_count Switch off After (minutes)
miscsettings.shutdown_count_hint1 time (in minutes) to switch from standby
              miscsettings.shutdown_count_hint2 to deep standby (0 = off).
              miscsettings.shutdown_real Standby
              miscsettings.shutdown_real_rcdelay Delayed Shutdown
              miscsettings.startmode Startmode
Noitice how the line in red is out of alphabeic order? This means that neutrino ignores the following 5 lines, which should have prededed the red line.

Easy one to amend: Just move the red line down to it's correct aphabetical insertion point, thus:
              Code:

              miscsettings.show_mute_icon_yes yes
              miscsettings.shutdown_count Switch off After (minutes)
miscsettings.shutdown_count_hint1 time (in minutes) to switch from standby
              miscsettings.shutdown_count_hint2 to deep standby (0 = off).
              miscsettings.shutdown_real Standby
              miscsettings.shutdown_real_rcdelay Delayed Shutdown
              [COLOR=red]miscsettings.standby_save_power Standby power-save mode (exp)[/COLOR]
              miscsettings.startmode Startmode
then Save, and restart Neutrino or reboot

And if anyone has a clue on what (exp) is supposed to mean- Expert? Expanded? - please shout, as there's ample space to get rid of the abbreviation and use the full word, whatever it's supposed to be.

Replacement (fully-tested that AH's reported glitches are now fixed!) is attached, in case you'd prefer to overwrite, rather than edit existing. Grovelling apologies for this faux-pax!

              Cheers- AL

Fussy bloody thing wanting everything in alphabetical order

I'll try editing it myself, if that doesn't work i'll go the lazy route & stick your file in there.

Wasn't really a major issue & did actually think someone might have spotted it but nobody mentioned it so i brought it up as i thought it was me doing something wrong with the patches.

Cheers for sorting & cheers for a top image the new epgfilter system is alot better than previous ones.

Hold your horses! Please don't anyone misconstrue what I'm saying about this file needing to be alphabetic order. It does, but only after these first four sections-

                  AUDIOSelectMenue.head
                  EPGMenu.(blah blah)
                  EPGPlus.(blah blah)
                  GENRE.(blah blah)

After these sections, then it becomes strictly alphabetic order, A to Z - and it was Renny that taught me this (but sometimes I forget...)

Personally, I'd like to see the almost 80 lines of 'GENRE' tosh come out, as this section isn't used by UK Cable at all. But I'm reliably informed that it must stay in, to support Satellite users.

                  Cheers- AL

i have small problem running this image or maybe just some setting i've not seen it yet, it seems to turn it self off at 0600 every day! and today it seems to reboot by self just before that, anyone come across anything similar?

Have a good read of the original Commando 11 readme, m8- where all this is carefully explained in glorious illustrated detail.

This document was included with the the C11 release Image, but the trouble is- most peeps can't be arsed to read such stuff...
