    Problem with streaming from Dbox2 to PC

    Hi all, i tried to stream my dbox2 to my pc which is running vista using Dbox TV 2.0.1.1 guide as given by STU666.
    After installing the Dbox TV program and putting in the PC IP and the Dbox IP, the connection testing always fails but this works fine on FlashFXP.
    The suggested VLC version 086 was installed but I just cant figure out why I cant have a connection.
    Somebody please help me out!

      Why dont you just use the web interface m8. Type in the ip address of your box in your browser or look for another streaming programme called stream me.

          Can u pls explain how to do this cos I typed in the IP into the browser as u said and all I had was 'Page cannot be displayed'.
          Can u pls give a step by step instruction as this is my first time? Thanks in advance

              if your box has ip address of 192.168.0.1 type that in your browser and a page should open with different options for the dbox. if it's not opening check your network settings are correct on the dbox.

                  I just installed the Stream Me software but dont have any clue how to use it. Can anyone please give me any ideas or tutorials pls?

                      IIRC just put in your dbox addy and the pc addy its connecting to

                              Ok m8 dont mean to confuse you. It's a well known acronym. Not my way, but the way of the internet IIRC = If i recall correctly.

                              Forget about what it means.I thought i made myself clear when i said. enter the ip addresses of your dbox and computer.
