Windows is blocking dreambox from lan connection, I do not how to stop it from blocking DB.

Windows is blocking dreambox from lan connection, I do not how to stop it from blocking DB.

windows xp that is. I was trying to connect today and a window came up and ask, do you want to unblock dreambox, I clicked yes and got conneceted I had a little trouble up loading file but I did. then when I went to manual update it was upgrading, but it got stuck in upgrading and the bottom of the screen was blank. well I pulled power after 15mins and then I had to reload image, but I could not get connected again. first it comes on then right away windows shuts it down. Help!

Maybe firewall/antivirus or you need to add your ip of box to exceptions in your firewall/anti settings

make sure you have turned off your standard windows firewall (if you have xp sp2 or above, do this using the windows firewall icon in control panel.) and disable any 3rd party firewall/anitvirus software that you have installed.
