hi guys ,just tried to load commando 10d to my box via ftp and crossover cable.when i turn it on it loads kernel and image info types up goes to image loading then stops-nothing.what should i do?try again??

Try as suggested by MickeyDibble, but if it gives you any grief show
no mercy. Download Hallenberg IFA , think it's in TOOLS, it just takes
no prisoners. Make sure you have right image for your box.
NOKIA is 2chip & SAGEM can be 1 or 2 chip.
Have you reason to choose COM 10 rather than COM 11
COM 11 works very well with MgCam N2 fix on N*L

tried the ifa but still no joy,ignored pop ups to proceed.when i powered up box did not get flashing message.lots of info scrolling thru on my pc and then segmentation fault? im totally baffled now-all suggestions greatly appreciatedComment

Start again with fresh image,it may have got corrupted,download image and try from begining,with all the files,magic etc.....Comment

cheers guys,downloaded commando 11and used IFA to flash with crossover and null modem.then used fxp to transfer the magic files and services and bouqets.re started mgcamd and hey presto!.just one thing every time i switch back on i have to stop and re start the softcam,and the epg only becomes active as channels are selected 9which i can live with.oh yeah cant get chelsea tv? cheers once againComment

There's a C11 sp1 & sp2 patch for n2 fix, have a look at it, I'm nearly sure
that will fix epg & any other niggles.
When box is powered off you have to re-start cam. When box is switched
to standby, you don't have to re-start cam.
Have a look in d-box menu at options ON REBOOT, you should be able
to set cam to re-start automatically on re-bootComment

hi guys just a little postscript,i seem to be missing a few channels-chelsea tv,some music and fashion tv-why i dont know.tried a scan last night and lost everything,scan lasted about 2 seconds.re-loaded my service and bouqet files thi morn and back up again.got any ideas on what may have happened??Comment

You're on Komm 11, so go to SET My LOCATION & set your location
You're in Dublin , but you don't say if it's cable or mmds.
scroll thru alphabetic listing & choose any of Dublin options
It won't find any chls. but will save prov. data on Serv.scan page
Go to Serv. scan & do fast scan, If no good change to other Dublin option
& repeat scan. If you can't manage get freq of missing chls. from friends
box, add manually on serv. scan page & proceedComment
