MY DBOX2 DIES EVRY FEW DAYS

Hi everyone

my dbox recently, it used to have commando 10c on it.

i updated it to comanndo 11 the end. within a week it died on me...so i did it again and it did the same thing again.

so i updated it with blade quad image. i got it all up and running, then within two days its died again.

can someone help?

go back 2 your roots and use your old comanndo 10 if thts til works y upgrade if somethings stil dus the same job

yeah i switched to blade quad. which was great for all of 3 days!

its gone down again.

What type of Dbox2 do you have (Sagem,Nokia or phillips) and could you clarify what you mean by "died"?

If you mean loosing channels, mine does that too. Its VM changing transponders lately, they kept changing every other day.

what do you mean 'died' ?

if it's happening on all images, it sounds like a hardware issue, possibly heat related. make sure it has lot of room around it, clean the vents, if u can open it and vac it. Also, some people remove the modem to improve air flow - u could even fit a few small heatsinks.

hi i think mini has got it right. the images all work, hardware is all fine. i think it is VM changing transponders, because i ftp'd the keys and emu files and rescanned and its fine.

anyone know a fix for this??

you've fixed it if it is shifting transponders...these r pretty rare and if ur box 'dies' again then it's something else.

what is the symptoms of ur 'dying' box

lose all channels? (prob hardware)
lose all but fta channels (prob ky update issue)
lose a few channels (this is what u get with shifting transponders)

turned out to be my aerial!!

But D Box dont use Ariel feed its cable
