Nokia DBOX 2 was working before scan

Dbox was working until last night when I did a update scan, now all I get is waiting for time. I am getting a reading on the snr but the reading on the bitrate is 0, any advice would be appreciated.

Did you set your area before scanning? blue button menu "set my location"

Try re-booting & re-starting cam, or re-scan using correct settings for area
Still in trouble, scan using BRUTE FORCE, does what it says on the tin.
When you have time, you should fit COMMANDO 11, much better image.

The image I flashed is a working image

The image I flashed ia a fully working image, as I flashed it to another box, it was a case of plugging it in, update & it worked???

u mean a backed up image from another box? is it plugged into the same feed?


is it a nokia or a sagem? which channels are working? post the signal readings

I recently had a Sagem1x that would not scan with any image other than njlworld6.1.
Might be worth flashing again as I have known some images corrupt during transfer.
Let us know how you get on?

Hi mate,
It is a nokia DBOX2, another member e-mailed me a working image, which I have flashed on to another box I use at home on the same feed without any problems.
the readings I am getting are:

BER min 100000 max 262143
snr min 1 max 50324
sig min 0 max 61816
bit rate min 0 max 0

Could this be a tuner fault????????

Hi mate image seems to be working fine, when box starts up everything seems to work, it's only when it comes to viewing the channels, just get waiting for time, tried doing a fast scan, no transponders found.

Need to clarify your first post, when you say working fine you do mean it was receiving all channels fta/others?
Did you then flash the box with C10 and scan?
If it was receiving channels before you flashed commando then the tuner is unlikely to be at fault.
I would try flashing it again and if that doesnt work try a different image.
As mentioned in previous post C11.3 is due out this weekend and it might be worth waiting to try this image( it will be fta so you will need the "magic files").

Grab a bootlog and paste it into a txt file and attach it here it could be here a hardware fault or the tuner might have gone weak and you might need a booster.
