Yesterday's release on UkCvs was more of a dress rehearsal. We soon discovered that the LCD-EPG fix diff that we thought was in, wasn't!

Waiting for a new neutrino binary from Renny- then the 'real thing' can go out. Should be on here before midweek. Be patient- it's well worth waiting for!

To whet your appetites in the meantime- here's the readme...

WOW - I've been using commando v10 for quite a while now and looks like a massive step forward - I'm in awe of all you guys - the time sweat and tears that it must have taken to get this to v11.3 is truely amazing.

I can't wait to give it a try - and will be installing the IDE-HDD module too!

1st impressions are that if u still have 11.2 on UPDATE NOW, sooo much better so far, but have only been running for an hr or so. EPG is really fast, The set location works a treat for fast scan, but again fast scan = loads of kiddies channels brute force hasnt come up trumps with the other channels, maybe ill try and borrow them from a neighbour. if i get any chirping ill let u know shortly.

So which part of my post #4 above didn't you understand, m8? The official release is on here today - so why are you trying to jump the gun and piss on our fire, eh?

It will be a sad day if the actions of a minority who refuse to respect the wishes of those who develop these images cause the developers to cease "sharing" the fruits of their labours.

Sorry- this does NOT exist. Your best bet is to FTP a backup of english.locale (you will find this in /share/tuxbox/neutrino/locale) to your PC, then use a 'proper' Text Editor like Metapad or Notepad++ to translate all the text labels on the right side of each line to Espan?l.

Do NOT touch the starting code of each line!! This must stay in English. So an example- where you would only edit the part in red:

 
EPGMenu.streaminfo [COLOR=red]technical information[/COLOR]
would become:
EPGMenu.streaminfo [COLOR=red]informaci?n t?cnica[/COLOR]

Time-consuming, but an enjoyable exercise! Please ensure you always keep a safe backup of the original file- and backup your Image too, before you start messing!!

Nice one to all involved with this- with other things taking up my time i've not really toyed with the dbox for about a year... great to see things are still coming along. I thought Commando 10 was about as far as the scene was going to go. Wrong.

You'd be better off with the more recent Commando 12, m8
