    faulty tuner ?

    hi all looking for some advice i have sagem 1x running blade quad for a few months perfectly now the ber has shot up to about 65000-80000 sig still good 60000 would this be a dodgy tuner it works for a little bit when i turn it on sometimes

    Could be tuner but first step would be to check your incoming signal (look for loose connections etc, does vm box work ok? If you are using a splitter take it out and attach dbox to direct feed. Have a look at the connector on the back of the dbox (is the input a good fit).

          Sounds like corrupt Image maybe,try a re-flash n update but check tuner as tommo said first

            it does feel a little bit loose where the cable has been hanging. would a jubilee clip tighten it or would it cause more interference. for future reference would a corrupt Image give the same symptoms also would it just go overnight?

              you could damage it totally be very carefull but it does need to be a snug fit try some nose pliers just on the middle hole bit on dbox or try flash new image if doesnt work

                thanx guys i did the middle bit + put a box under the wire to stop the wire hanging ber down to 50 thanx again for your help!
