    FXP and Vista

    I had trouble settin up FXT on my laptop runnin vista. I couldnt set up the local connection usin the tutorial but got it workin with xp. Any pointers on where im goin wrong?

    How far have you got
    Have you Located your Network
    Are you useing a crossover cable ,From the lan connection .....Paul

      I used a crossover cable in the lan.But couldnt get the options in properties that i could on xp

        You go to connection and sharing center> manage network>right click on network card>properties>ipv4 Settings

        There you can set your pc ip gateway ect.

          When u goto config/advanced there's no way of changin connection type to 10baseT_halfduplex

            Just Pick the Nearest Or Auto and make sure you enable the Flow....Paul

              flow is enabled. is it anything to do with the default gateway?what should that be set at?
