    backed up img

    hi ,installed commado11.3 everything is fine very nice image thanks to paphosAL,RENWICH,but when backing up it says it is in tmp,mtd3 etc..as usual.but i just cant find it when connected i have looked everywhere i think? any ideas guys...thnx micky

    Using same image m8, it backs up fine, you are not pulling the plug on the dbox are you as this will lose all thats in the temp folder

      no i am not i have left the box on all the time? while backing up and didnt re-boot or anything like that....

        yeah, don't turn off the box after backup as this clears the /tmp folder (lots of people do this to then take the dbox over to the PC to connect it via FTP)

        the file will be mtd3.img and will be over 8mb in size - easy to spot in FTP , just browse to the /tmp folder (from root)

          yeh i know done that and didnt move the box just left it plugged in and running but must of done something wrong i will try again later thnx

            Do you see the progress bar on tv when backing up, and does it finish successfully, if so then the mtd3.img should be there in tmp, if not then try a re-flash and then try again

              Hi m8,

              Press the blue button then blue button again and there is a backup image option in that menu, saves the backup as Commando11 to the /tmp folder.
              Working fine for me.

                ok cheers guys i was that excited about this new image that i didnt close/and re-open flashfxp,when i did this . it was there just to impatient on this one thnx guys...micky
