cannot change cable provider

hi all
My d2box started chirping on some channels, freezing on others , eg: sly sp 2 ok, sly sp 1 & 3 jumpy and freezing.
the rest normal, one interesting observation is that the cable provider is shown as "kabel deuchland" and cannot be changed, even though i have selected my location
Any ideas please?
