BOUGHT A NOKIA DBOX2 DEBUGGED WHAT DO I DO??

Hi ive just bought a nokia DBOX2 and plugged it in, it came debugged with Sportster pro 1.08 rc007, what do i do to recieve channels and get started??? any help would be much appriciated!!!

start reading, plenty of threads on here will help,also look for pt-1 help file, tells u everything

u will need to set the scan settings to ur area ie net id frequency and symbol rate......where r u

ive put it on scan before i put this thread on, is it ok to turn off the box by the plug or wait till its finished scanning???

press dbox button or home it should stop the scan

lat bit of annoyance for you, ive be searching got 88 channels, but it has been on 53/188 on the transponders for about 10-15 mins without doing anything, ive pressed home, it says do u want to abort scan, ive said yes but nothing has happen just comes out and still scans on????? u think its still ok to scan on or leave it on for an hour????

try aborting again, is there a fast scan option? if not u will have to carry out the full (long) scan....if it's frozen u may need to power down from the mains

its spinning round but still hasnt done anything still on 53/188, think its frozen? Clock is working and radar is spinning around

yep.....u lose the channels

is there a fast scan option.....the img is old, once u get use to the box u really ought to flash a new img....but that's a few steps away yet

there is a fast scan but it dont get me any channels!!! just going to try it again and see if we get past that!!! Yeah reading the beginners books and stuff here! that commando program looks the popular one! So sure i can always call on ye if i need help! !
