dbox2 help please...need keys..

Hi all,

lovely forum by the way. im glad i found it. im a newbie to dbox 2. i bought a dbox 2 with twin intel chips. it already has a year old laky image. got it on and scanned channels and it all seemed fine but after the can 90% of channels have a key next to them and won't work.

shall i find key and input latest key and will it work then? if so how do i do that? no idea??

also i have a new laky image if i flash with that will everything work? what is the better option? i don't need to be in debug mode to flash do i?

i would flash your box with a new image like commando 11.3 2x img do some reading here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...lly-end-52493/ the real magic files can be found here Tools as long as you can ftp(if you dont know what this is take a look here Digital Kaos - Downloads - FlashFxp you should be fine...while your here with 1 post you could have a look round and try help somebody else this is what this community is all about, thnx micky

ps: it is already in de-bug mode,there is an image on..

i have that same image and the same was happening to me when i got mine. You need to change your location if you have not tried that

As you already have a image on your box all you need to do is transfer the k#ys to your box to get the unscambled channels.

First of all you will need the k#ys folder which you can get from here>>>>Tools d/load the real magic files to get the folder that you need. Unrar the file to your desktop as you will need these later. Now you need a ftp program you can get it from here>>>>>Digital Kaos - Downloads - FlashFxp there is a guide included to show you how to use it. Also you will need a xover cable connect your box to your pc.

When you have figered out how to connect to your box and use FlashFxp go to var/k#ys and transfer the k#ys folder that you saved to your desktop. After it as transfed reboot your box then put on sly sports 1 until it clears 5 mins max now you will have all channels.....
