Reflash correct image using IFA.It will take about 15 minutes.

        THE TRUTH
        The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

            guys,

            how do you use IFA

do you need both the null modem cable and the crossover cable connected at the same time?

not sure what to do as the dbox2 was running via DCHP before i changed a file and now its stuck at the kein boot screen on the lcd...

any help would be greatly apprieciated, didnt want to start a new post for the same problem just not sure what to do

            thanks alot

It makes it alot easier if you use both cables. You can use just null cable if needs be. Just do a search or look at the red stickies at top for help.

When useing IFA you can just use a xover cable the null modem cable is just used to give you a boot file.

To use Ifa connect your cable from your pc to your dbox ever just a xover cable or null modem cable aswell, then load your Ifa program you can get one from here>>> Digital Kaos - Downloads - Image Flashing assistant
Also you will need a image to flash to your box you can get it from here>>>>> Digital Kaos - Downloads - Images make sure you use the right one for your box 1x or 2x. Save the image to your desktop for later.

Now load up your Ifa program and make sure the power lead to your dbox is dissconnected........
1: Now pick the image you want to flash to you dbox.

2: Now choose if you ever using just a xover cable or a null modem aswell.

3Press ok when you are happy with your selection.

4: It will ask you to press ok when you do this plug your power lead into you dbox at the same time. You will know when the box is flashing as it will say it on your dbox lcd. You might get to do it on the first try or it could take 5 attempts to get your dbox to connect to Ifa.

6: It will say on the lcd of the dbox when the flash as finished (Do not pull the power lead out until it doe's or it will not work and you will have to start from square one)

7: Now your box will be up and running again if you followed the steps.
