cork city netid for dbox 2

Alright lads they netid for chorus cork is 43231,the reason I'm letting you know is that we'd like to be included in the fastscan option in future images. It'll make life easier for us when it comes to flashing. No need for the ftp process if we can scan our area with fast scan.
Me and other Corkonians would appreciate this for future images.
    Thanks in advance
    Freck.
p.s. We had problems before getting the netid but now that we have it we can make use of it,symbol rate for us is 6875 by the way.

Cydine has already included 6875 in the SymRate toggles for Fast Scan in Commando 11.3 m8.

To be included in LraiZer's tasty new Set My Location menu for Fast Scan, however, we really need your Frequency, too, please!

And by the way- if anybody actually lives in Meath - (apart from maybe a few horses, goats, cows, sheep, pigs, chickens etc) - we still await YOUR NetID, Frequency, and SymRate details, LOL!

    Cheers- AL

Yes- but that's using a slow Scan / ALL transponders, surely? In order to add Cork into the SML dBase for Fast Scan, we need to know the default Frequency for Cork, too!

This info can easily be found by going into the Engineers Menu on a subbed box locally.

        Cheers- AL

a service file doesn't inform you which of all the transponder frequencies is the default one for ur area....u need to go into the Engineers Menu of a V*M STB....a modded 1 instead of a subbed 1 preferably as the activity of u entering the menu gets recorded..

whats the model number of the pace?

                  cheers

I think it's dead safe to unscrew the cable feed before going into the EM, Metman- and the default Frequency we require will still be in there, m8?

Then pull the plug on the box, reconnect the cable feed, and power up again!!

                      Cheers- AL

                        Found this on another forum
"You need to change the Symbol Rate to scan CH**** !!!! The Sr for CH*** is 6875 and the Network ID is 00060 and the freq: is 258.000. Commando Image 6 is recommended.

you will need to do a manual scan on the following frequencies to bring in just over 140 ch`s

                        Freq's = 274,282,290,298,306,314,322,371,379,386,394,410,42 6
                        "

Yeah- but that info's for a totally different Irish location to you, innit? Compare his NetID with your own... So the Frequency, too, will be different!

                          Cheers- AL

All the frequencies on 6875 chorus are the same, just once the symbol rate is 6875 the frequencies listed in the above post will work.Plus there one or two more 444.000 and another to be verified.
Even tho the netid is different the freqs are same.

But your very first post in this thread said: "we'd like to be included in the fastscan option in future images... us Corkonians..."

This is not possible without us knowing the default Frequency for the Corcaigh / C?bh area, m8! For example, in my 6887 SymRate section of cables.xml - no less than 154 lines will be found. The Frequencies in each line are possible Transponder frequencies.

If I look down this list, then yes- I see two frequencies that would also work as default frequencies for my area: 643000000 and 755000000 - but I only know this because I already know the real defaults for this area, using the same method as I've already explained on your subbed box.

If you look at the 6875 section of cables.xml - you'll see around 60 frequencies listed. One of these 'might' be Cork, on the other hand, none of them might be...

Sorry, but no confirmed default Frequency, and Cork is the 'Weakest Link' so far as Fast Scan is concerned. Meath has already been binned, as no data forthcoming, despite dozens of pleas. We can't just guess these things you know.

                              Cheers- AL
