d/loaded commando x1 image off d/load section. set area correctly and fast scanned ok......premium chans are active for about 10 secs then all i can view is terrestrial channels after.

i transferred image accross ethernet cable from pc to var directory on dbox then upgraded via dbox menu...

is it correct that when i see commando x1 -- it means for single chip dbox for which i have ? sagem single chip dbox..

is there a better image for the dbox single chip (sagem)

confusing as a dbox1 is different to a dbox2, what u got is a dbox2 with a single chipset.

have u got more than 1 cam active?

u transferred img to var directory? do u mean /tmp or the shortcut to the /tmp folder in the /var folder ?

probably not and certainly if u want the extra features like 7-day epg and v*m channel ordering then this is the only img i know offering these, but if these aren't too important for u then try any 1x img 'till u find 1 that suits you.

thanks for help guys ,, the box is a dbox 2 single chip .. i worked it out in the end as i never knew about transferring more than just image to d/box (duhh i know hehe). newbie to dboxes.. eurovoxes i think ill stick too..
