    d box problem

this is to anybody, i have a d-box from a friend, i have flashed and used a null modem route, but will not except the software, i have noticed, it will not show any of the previous software, i.e unable to get the ip address, i am just wondering if this d-box, is not in de-bug mode, and he is pulling a fast one, question is how can you tell, if the d-box is no good, for flashing and is there way of telling it is in de bug mode. secondly is there an easy way to de bug if need be. cheers

Just do a search on here and you will find all answers.
When you switch box on does it show any picture or name as it comes on, does it say anything on screen.

When you say goes straight to channel do you mean the box boots up?
Can you describe what is on the lcd and does the box respond to the remote?

I would go back to the start and try to flash the box again, Take a look at the post by gizmo.1484 in this thread:

First download the chip check program(link in gizmo's post) and confirm if you have 1x or 2x box then download a suitable image (recommend Commando 11.3). You can't transfer the image using flashxp so try using Portable IFA available in downloads to flash the image to your dbox (I find this program very reliable) and post back results.
