loading kernel nokia dbox

hi was getting the loading kernel on dbox sorted that out useing hyperterminal flashed u-boot.mot file and new image but the problem im having now is scanning for channels when i go into channel scan its got satelite astra 19.2e in the menu and i cant change it to cable ive tried diffrent images but still got the same if anyone can help.thanks

hi thanks for reply 1ve tried the new commando 11.3 and sporster,v++ quad yes im in uk and it is for cable been useing it befor it went faulty with loading kernel on the box.

You need to install a cable xml into var/tuxbox/config here is on you can use, transfer then delete the sat one

if its defaulted to sattelite you have a hardware fault. ie tuner

depending on ur current img, the cables file may need to go into the share/tuxbox.....eg v++ img

hi how did you manage to fix the loading kernel problem..?? i have tried ifa and hyperterminal... just get a log of info..but the problem remains the same..? any help appreciated box is dead...

IFA will reflash it. it will work, make sure you're flashing the correct image type i.e. 2x chip image or 1x chip image.
