    HELP WITH MY DBOX2

    HI ALL
    I HAVE A NOKIA DBOX2. This was working on the old pacino image, but i needed to regularly update the k**ys so i thought i'd update the whole image. I have updated the image, but think i have completely messed up the box because now i don't get any channels. When i do a scan, it finds 376 transponders but no channels (!). The image on there at the moment is Laky Pro. Please help. I have another nokia dbox2 which works absolutely fine, so i know my cable is good. I have tried the latest pacino and blade quad images, but both have exactly the same results - no channels found(!). Does anyone know what the problem is?

    Hi,

    I take it you have set your location? On the pacino image I think its blue button twice, option should be there. This sets the neccessary numbers for scanning channels.

      yes tried both but still not picking up any channels

      there is an option on laky-pro to select "all uk" and even that is not picking up any channels

      <--sbance added 7 Minutes and 22 Seconds later...-->

      the box doesn't even pick up bbc1 or any free view channels

        Try copying the services file from your working box to it and see what you get then.

              Stating the obvious here m8 but have you checked all cables are connected properley.Have you done a slow scan as opposed to a fast scan.Sometimes a fast scan doesn't pick any channels up on my box.

              THE TRUTH
              The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

              Today's report is black and white.The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
              The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

                      bootlog

                      bootlog is what you get when you have the null modem lead in and use software called ifa (image flashing assistant i think) . when the software is connected to the box hold down power and the up channel button till screen goes off . loose power button then a couple of seconds later loose the up channel button. this should run tests on the dbox now through ifa.

                        why not back up the image on you're working box and flash it to the problem box?

                            Sounds like you have a hardware problem maybe tuner related if all the connectors are ok. Have you tried your working box in place of of the problem one or vice versa? This would confirm your connections.
