    Help Guys please help me please!

    hi guys i linked my dbox (nokia) to the laptop and put a new image on (laky) and went to the dbox menu and selected the image the dbox reset and only has letters and numbers on the lcd screen there is text at the bottom which i think says kien system i cannot go to my dbox through the tv and cannot connect it using the cross over cable i have been using can someone please tell me what i have to do to get my dbox working again all help will be good thank you

      If you look at the bottom of the lcd it says Klein system, meaning your box is in klein mode and need to be flashed again with ifa (ImageFlashingAssistant), when it gets like this i use a serial cable and cross over as its very hit or miss for me using ifa / dbox.

      ITgate TGM220 (swapable tuner), Dreambox 800 pro, Dreambox 500c x 2, DBox, Popbox media player.

          Hi m8,

          You have most likely flashed the wrong image type, you need to confirm if your box is a 1x or 2x (this relates to the flash chips inside the box) and then reflash with the correct type. Your Nokia is most likely a 2x and there are plenty of these in the downloads section.

              As the D Box is a Nokia
              It will need a 2x image Flashing to it
              Ifa 3.1 and above for Vista
              Or the portable IFA for top results .....................Paul
