    Try removeing splitters and Attenuators
    Go direct to the wall
    If this helps
Get the signal booster Below ......Paul

Attenuators reduce the signal strength to the box. Too strong a signal can cause a bad picture freezing etc. A splitter is a device that allows the cable to be split so you can add another cable from the splitter to add another receiver or modem

        THE TRUTH
        The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

Every time you add a splitter it will degrade the signal quality.

do you have a loose fit ( socket in tuner ) ?
try nipping the inner circle on the tuned to give a tighter fit.

also push your scart leads right in.

what BER and SNR you getting on what channel ?

I had the same problem a few weeks ago with 5 channels freezing so I bought a new scart lead (gold plated ) from b+Q
4 channels are now perfect and 1 freezes for a second once or twice a hour
                  a 95% improvement

                      What image?

What image are you using? I've got Pacino trilogy and that causes channel freezing all the time, want to change it but want to make sure that the keys auto update, before this image I didn't have this option...

                          hi,
usualy, the dbox freez when there is no signal and it try to update the service.xml
you could check if you have a good signal and (or) good service.xml
or disable the transponder update and make a channels scan.
