Could anyboby tell me why the MTV channels on my DBox don't run smoothly and are always stop starting. I've tried different images but the problem is still there.

All MTV channels are fine here m8...
Plus try a few other things,
I know that there is a way you can check your signal, press (red then blue)- try it on a few channels & see if the bad ones are any diferent.
Try a few of these:
are you using a splitter, if so try it without.
check the cable + connectors are making a good connection,
reduce your EPG settings to next to nothing for a day & next day check the bad channels to test if it has changed.
