    Adding a hard drive !!!

I've seen a few posts on other forums about adding an ide interface to your dbox, this then letting you add a laptop HD to your box.

    Is this worth the hassle?

Would you be better off buying a new box thats already capable of adding a HD (Eurobox PVR EX5000 & Dreambox DM 600 PVR).
How good are these boxes compared to my faithful old Nokia?

Has anyone managed this sucessfully ?

I know people who have a dbox2 with a hard disk and they say it's fine.

If it were me, I'd get a DM600-PVR or something similar as these are designed to have a hdd, the dbox2 is an addon.

The hard disk kit alone with cost you about ?50, then you need to get a hdd.
