Nokia Dbox Power Issue

Hi guys, I have recently had an issue with a Nokia D-box I setup for a friend.

The box is not receiving any power (no output to LCD display etc)

I have checked both the plug fuse and internal 1.25A fuse with a continunity tester, and both appear to be OK.

I have checked for any visible sign of damage on the motherboard, inlcuding leaky caps etc.. however it all looks ok.

Any ideas on what else could have failed which would be easy enough to swap out? If not I'll be looking for a replacement motherboard. I've already checked Ebay and didn't see any boards on there, so I'm looking for somewhere else that ship Dbox boards.

you can get a boot log from box and maybe one of the more experienced members can cast their eye over it. has the lcd display been taken out recently and the box powered up while it has not been connected?

Hi mate, yup, I've disconnected the LCD display.

Hooked up the box via RS-232 and theres nothing displayed through to a terminal emulator upon plugging the dbox in.

Any other ideas?

the reason I asked if you had disconnected the lcd and powered up is because doing so can fry the processor, I never asked you to do it. have uploaded file on how to get a bootlog kindly written by devilfish Digital Kaos - Downloads - how to get a boot log
