    Help needed

    Hi I have somehow managed to get kien system on my dbox. I tried using IFA and an ethernet cable but got nothing then i read you couldnt use an ethernet cable and a null modem cable would be the best solution the only problem is i dont seem to have any ports on my laptop that support a null modem cable what other options are available to me is it possible to get one with a usb cable on one end. Any help is greatly appreciated

      sounds like you used wrong image type...you can get usb to rs232 on fleabay etc...you will have to use ifa now !!! make sure you choose correct image for your box!!!

          cheers mate I did try and flash an image and the file stopped halfway thru it might be that but I just blamed my girlfriend instead as she started to clean up around that time
