what im i doing wrong

hi every one, well i got my NOKIA dbox 2 the image that is on it is blade trinity v2. ive set my location to plymouth devon thats the one nearest to me did a scan got 200 and so tv channels but i carnt get the ppv its picked up the keys ive seen them,had a look at othere channels eg bb1 channel 4 and so on i can get them,and ive notice i carnt view sky news ? what im i donig wrong thanks.

It doesn't pick up the keys. You have to ftp the working keys and roms into the box in order to view PPV. Look around for "magic keys" ftp them into the correct folder and change the attributes of the files to chmod 755.

thanks Bulld0g,im going to flash a different image just got to get the leads. how can i tell what image it is i downloaded it from a torrent site the image that i got just says With keys and roms.img,ive opened it with NewTuxFlash how do i no the name of the image thanks.ps where do i get keys and roms.

hi fony get the k+ys/r+ms here Tools just transfer to the relevant folders and change the cams attributes to 755 by right clicking( when dbox side) selecting properties and change.....still recommend com 11.3 x2 img

hi Fergal, yes i do have that option, so is that a good thing im guessing that it is,thanks for the help and all to this site,was looking at sites in this sort of thing but this is the dogs dangly bits thanks to you all.

If you can find the latest keys for your area big m.a.q toolbar
ftp into var/keys and edit the keylist.txt file or
Using tuxbox commander go to var/keys hilite the keylist.txt file and press 4 to edit now hilite the key 1 line and press ok it will go big
scroll along and enter the correct details look at the bottom of the screen to see which buttons to press
once you have done it press ok the line will go small repeat the above for key 0 line
now press home it will ask you do you want to save press red for yes then home again red to save if prompted
now home repeatedly to you get back out of all the meunu's then change channel see if they work you might have to reboot the box.

well guess what it dident work did that i even did a rescan reboot but no go,some fta channels wont show?.eg sky news bid tv theres a key symblat the bottom lit in yellow if you no what i mean.

Those channels are not FTA, but FTV - Free to View. This means they are encrypted.

Look in var/keys is there some files called nagrarom7.bin,nagrarom10.bin,etc?
also look in var/bin or var/bin/emu do you see evocamd or mgcamd?
press blue button and look through the menu's for emu selection and choose evocamd.

hi Fergal,yes i do have nagrarom7.bin and 10,yep evocamd thats on just got in so i will have a look at the keys,the ones iam useing is of big mac toolbar and its tw 5A 01,i think thats for me south west.
