    How do I get FTA Image working

    Hello & Happy New Year!

    I have a quick question regarding my DBox2 and the FTA image.

    I have an issue with my remote not working so I updated my image so I could use
    yWeb to scan for new channels.


    The old image was an old Sporster image with basic yWeb support.

    After flashing and putting keys and Devocam etc in to the folders it still
    does not work on anything other than fta channels, can anyone help?

    Does the image only support Camd? (Do I need to put a Camd cam in?)
    if so what do I need do get it working?

    Any help would be most gratefull

      Did you chmod 755 the files when you ftp'd them over m8 ? You need to do this.

          Magic files transferred to relevant places?

          Attributes of relevant files changed?

          Correct cam selected? Cam restarted? Left for 5 mins on a suitable channel to allow it to update?

              Have you tried different ucodes too ? Try a combination of cams and ucodes/ Leave on Sky sports1 for a few minutes each time.

                  Wot image have you changed to now mate
                  Or are you still on Sportster
                  Some images Cam=bin
                  Others cam =var/bin/emu
                  Tell us a bit more info mate ..............Paul

                      Update

                      I'm not at home at the moment.

                      The previous image was an old one I've had the box for 3/4 years now and not had to touch it, because of the remote issue I was able to re-scan so I backed the folder up and installed the FTA image from the DBOX2 downloads.

                      I copied the cam and keys over and changed the permission but it's still not working.

                      on the emu section of the image it say resart Camd (I think its this!) but I have EVoCAM installed with only that emu in the folder) Will this be causing the issue? I have changed the ucodes with the one from the previous image but still not working.

                      Also when you change the channel a key lights up where the dolby icon is.

                      Any help much appreciated, do you think I should install another image?
