I have flashed blade quad onto the nokia dbox 2 but i am having problems searching for channels. how do i install the services on to the dbox? I used IFA to flash. any help would be appreciated

You need to use Flashfxp to flp your service.xml file to your dbox it goes in var/tuxbox/config/zapit.
Have you tried to set your locatons in the blue button menu? then try a scan

I transferred settings and bouquet file into tuxbox file and started a scan and no channels found. i've also tried the blue button way but with no success. Dont know what else to do

When you flip your service.xml & bouquet.xml you do not need to scan.
Just press the box button then go down to service press on that then press on reload channel list now you should have channels

Tried that. It just says no channels were found, please execute a scan.

Where did you get the image from?
Are you putting the service.xml & bouquets.xml in the right file VAR/TUXBOX/CONFIG/ZAPIT?
Are you sure the files are ok?

I got the blade quad image from big maq site and it flashed no problems. I got the service codes from this site. Dont know if the service codes are ok or not?

The lcd screen on the dbox just says No EPG info. I've tried changing the ucodes but still wont work

If you got them from this site they should be ok..
When you flp the files to your dbox from your pc do they transfer ok?

It looks like they transfer ok as I can see them in the dbox after I have hit the transfer. I have tried 2 seperate service files from this forum

Which files are transfering just service.xml or Bouquets.xml as well.

A few people have had problems scanning with the blade image, if you have only got the service file then what i would do is flash another image do a scan with that image save the service & bouquets file to your pc then reflash blade insert the files then should have channels.
But if you have good service & bouquets files then click on VAR then TUXBOX then CONFIG then flip the files into ZAPIT. Then reload the channels........

scan lasts less than a minute. It's a matter of seconds and it doesnt list any channels
