      Hi Micky

I tried the scan when I got homee

      Well, here goes....

      The settings were as follows:

      1. Scan for services: tv & radio
      2. Bouquet: update (although also tried leave current)
      3. Cable provider: CableUK Sym6952
      4. Fast Scan: Off
      5. Network ID: 40971
      6. Frequency: 433000
      7. Symbol rate: 6952
      8. Sections scan: off

Once I do a scan, it lasts about 5 seconds and now says, (which it didn't before) "Transponderscan finished successfully".

      Now I have no channels!!!!!

It's getting worse and I don't know what to do!

I only have a macbook my dad bought me, but I really don't know anything about technology or computers!

Can I fix this?..... I hope so

      Sorry to bug you micky

There are 2 different frequencies for your area. Cheltnam 1/2, the one I mention is abbydale , could be better. Good luck.. Let's see what happens
The only other way would probs be to start again witha reflash adding the files etc.....maybe someone is not far from u who knows how.
