only fta chans, on commando 11.3

    Hi

Im new to this, and have been reading away b4 i posted.

i have a sagem dbox2 with commando 11.3 2x image, this works fine, but i olny get the basic package.

I have chmod the real_magic files using fxp so all the files in my "/var/keys/var_keys/ as set as rw-r-r--, and the /var/keys/var_bin_emu/ & /var/keys/lib/ are set too rwxrwxr-x"

let it sit on SS1 chan for 20mins, no change, tried to change the UCode on to the 3 availible settings (rebooted each time) still no change.

kinda at a loss, and would be grateful for any pointer you gys could give me.

    TY in advance.

      Them paths sound all wrong.

      keys to /var/keys
      emus to /var/bin/emu

Don't create any new folders, the only 2 you need are already there.

        ok
        moved the "emus to /var/bin/emu"

        what about the "lib" folder?

does that live in the keys dir?

        regards Biz

The image on the box should already have a lib folder, whatever is is the lib folder that you downloaded just needs transfering to the /lib folder on the box.

The file you downloaded probably only has folders as a guide to where the files go in the box.

only the kys and cam have to be added to lhc2, lib file already there....

dbox - 4 - red to check cam is active, most use ucode 001A unless recording

just like to say this a gr8 forum/webby/comunity.

guides are *ahem* fool proof. and nice DL section.

as a 1st timer, I only took 2 days from scratch to get my box working..........kinda sums up the quality of the info/help provided.

keep it up, and i hope i can help the "n00b in distress" in the near future.

                  "next mission=bouquet setups"

I'm experiencing the same problem as this guy. What is the ucode 001A all about?
