Sagem dbox-channels problem

I've been reading through the forums and the tutorial etc, and i'm getting a bit of techno-confusion. Do images decay over time? i've got a commando v3 image for my x1 box, it's been ok until recently, so I flashed it again, and i'm only getting beeb and itv, anything with a key icon lit isn't viewable. What is wrong? Am I missing something?

commando v3 that's an old img, unless u added the roms it wouldn't auto-update after a k*eyroll.....what have u been doing manually updating the k*eys?

err, not used it for a while, previously, a service scan seemed to do the trick. What do you recommend?

No, I turned it on a week ago. Couldn't get nothing. suspected a problem with the RF in plug, fixed that, flashed it then, i'm here. what happened in April?

there was a change by virmin how they rolled the k*eys making all imgs unable to update therefore all ppv channels will not work....there has been a fix where new files have to replace the old files for the old imgs to update....new imgs with k*eys have these new files but most are now posted without because of legal reasons....can u ftp to the img?

think I can, I guess you mean move files to/from box via pc, using flash fxp or similar? I can handle that.

I've tried the files, but still not getting anything. Is it best to abandon this image altogether? What should I use instead?

Did you ftp the fixed files to /var/k*ys then reboot the box look through the blue button menu for emu selection and choose evocamd reboot then leave it on a sly channel for 5 minutes

You Star!! It's working now! What did I do when I used blue button that made it work? Didn't even need to reboot! Thanks everso!

It was most probably running on newcamd which does not work mg and evocamd work ok
