make sure youve read all the stickies first, then read them again just to make sure youve took it all in,dont be afraid as long as you have a nulmodem cable ,a cross over cable and have everything downloaded that you need ,eg image ,ifa (just in case)and of course read everything

        network

its all about setting up a network correctly, learn that and you are laughing.

null modem and cross over were essential and least complicated.

use a decent ftp client and read the excellent guide on Dbox2 for beginners and also great guide on FTPFXP which explains how ftp client system works.

Back up your current image before you start if you have one loaded! If its a fresh install then use the IFA software as it sorts alot of the fiddle bits for you.

Last advice is just go for it. If you have a back up and make a mistake then just reload the original working image.

        Practice makes perfect!
