You should have pasted it into a .txt file and attached it to your post as you can see a bootlog is long
the tuner is answering ok so it not completley dead but it might have gone weak try a slx1p booster from argos if it dont work you can get a full refund then you could try changing the BFG94 in the tunerComment

Hey thanks, guys.
Big, big thanks to everyone who has tried to help and advise me with this, but i'm giving it up. As i said in my first post, it is not my box. it belongs to someone i don't even know!!!, a friend of one of my workmates. It has given me 2 days of headaches but i enjoy a challenge, and at the end of the day, all the boxes are going tits up soon. Just tried to buy some time, days, weeks, who knows. N3 is already here in notts, running alongside N1, just waiting for the new card and switchover. BTW also been working on a BoxPVR twin tuner, (also for a friend of a friend) and cannot get that going either. Maybe Virmin have done somethig nasty at their end. Think i might phone them and complain LOL. I'll get it back to it's owner and try a scan on his feed, but i'm not hopeful. Can't see the point of spending any dosh on it when its almost all over.
Thanks again. chaps. In the words (and accent) of Dad's Army's private James Frazer... We're all Doomed!!!!Last edited by codhunter; 21 February, 2010, 10:50.Comment

You're not quite ready to give up yet, m8!! Now that we've established it's a Nokia dBox2, you have another 5 minutes work to do, using the attached mini-tute.
The component to focus on is the female co-ax Antenna socket on the back of the box.

PaphosAL
tried this, mate but it made no difference. ber, sig and snr all about the same as before. however took the dbox to a mate's house and scanned on his feed and found some services. about 150 tv, 7 radio and 4 data. some of the tv were not viewable or duplicates, like about 10 bbc1's. he had to go off out but when he comes back i'll try again, this time with a signal booster. wish me luck!Comment

bruteforce fix
Hi guys, sorry but where is the bruteforce fix file, looked in downloads can't find it, (sorry if I am being dumb). Just flashed C12 via FTP and no bootloader, ftp'd by backed up magic, but no brute force frequencies. Have read all above but cannot find update
