Hey guys im new to this and struggling abit, i have managed to flash my dbox2 with the commando 11.3, great plugged her all in, brute force scanned, nothing found! Ok so i browsed the forums, and im guessing i need to upload some other files to the box via ftp?? Is this right?? also what exacally is it i need to upload? i have the BigM*Q toolbar by the way.

Any help would be appriciated, thnx

If you found absolutely nothing then your settings for the slow scan are probably wrong. Ensure you're using the correct frequency etc for your area.

Thanx for the quick reply, im in teesside, im selecting :

Brute Force
Boutique : Leave as is
Cable UK
Auto scan ON

Its not finding anything, not even FTA

just try it on 6887 instead of all uk scanning
Recheck all your wires and connections ...................Paul

cheers paul ill give that a go tomorrow, so theres nothing i need to ftp to the dbox? like i say i have only flashed it with the firmware because it wouldnt boot up after the kids messed on with it, is it possible they have deleted anything vital?

ok guys, flashed with the blade image, do0ne a scan and it found everything only thing is now when i select a channel i just get a black screen, no error message just black screen, any ideas please? Karl

Council tv or ppv,or are all channels black screen?

Did you do a service scan?

Push blue button on re mote
Set my location
Scroll to were you are.
Box will reboot and you should be ready to rescan
once finished put it on sky sports 1 for 1 min then bbc1 and then back to sky sports 1 tell us what happens

ok done all the above, sly sports 1 black screen for 1 min, bbc1 all working fine for 1 min, back to sky sports 1 black screen :S
