nagra 3 Nottingham???

can anyone confirm if its happened?

box is waiting for time,reset area and won't scan for channels. Doesn't find any transponders etc.

havn't tried re-flashing yet,just wondered if anyone knew?

There are a few posts on here with areas that have nagra 3.I don't know if yours is one of them.
Before you did the rescan,did you remove any splitters?

Before you did the rescan,did you remove any splitters?

don't have any splitters,had virmin in yesterday to upgrade broadband so thought he might have cut off the unused lines (dont sub to TV) tried box on the internet output and same result,so im guessing its happened.

can't do a re-flash as have'nt got a cross over with me untill tommorow.

i'll post results.Judging by the link in the other post Notts is expecting new cards as i said wouldn't know for sure as don't sub to tv.

Nottingham is next I believe to receive new cards however there are no signs of cards being sent yet. Once Derby is done I guess they will move onto Nottingham & Leicester.

this is 1 of the reasons vm are moving to nag3 peeps who dont even pay for a minimum tv sub

was with n*l for years crap service,moved to sly,only use box for PPV,if ive got a live output in every room i'll use it.Broadband i pay for and don't recieve full speed more than makes up for it.No they aren't changing because people don't pay min sub,they are changing because we are all the same,none of us should be doing it min sub or not.

ok then why didnt they make the move sooner, nag 3 has been about for years, 1000s of people not paying minimun tv sub =s a lot of money, i know loads of people in nottingham alone not paying for anything, just using dodgy boxes, that is taking the piss.

No cards been sent out in Nottingham yet when they do they will turn a few off at a time starting with movies and sports

opened the box up on the wall outside,the engineer has cut off the old supply and theres a new single line for my broadband,not gonna mess about with that so i'll walk away with a smile,anyone know if the 50mb broadband has a different input/output in the wall socket?? box wont work on there though it did on the same output when i had 20mb.

made a lad at work happy,im giving him 2 dboxes.

for what i have with vm - broadband and phone makes no odds id get min sub anyway,i pay 0ver ?50 a month to sly,not being rude but don't get high n' mighty with me because sooner or later there will be a change - thats life.

in answer to why they haven't changed before,i don't know.blame ebay or other places folk buy cable boxes, not me.Maybe has something to do with loads of people all over the uk not just nottingham that don't pay for what they recieve,min sub or not.

my connection has been installed since 95 when it was diamond cable,if they are gonna leave a live connection running makes sense to use it.I can't use it anymore but i'll not lose any sleep over it,i'll move on and keep enjoying my sly HD.

I think main point that GMB is trying to point out is that had you have kept a minimum TV sub going they would not have cut your cable m8.
