NFS and CIFS were both thoroughly tested in C11.3 and onwards. As I remember from beta testing, there's nothing stopping you from having NFS and CIFS installed at the same time, according to FreddyFr0g.

Have you read the pdf readme that came with this image? The various file systems are provided (also with the image) as 'Add-On' packs, for manual install via menus.

These can also be downloaded / installed for you via the blue button menus, if your dbox is hooked up to the web.

Why not upgrade to Commando 12? Meanwhile, here's the C11.3 readme, in case you've lost it.

        Cheers- AL

Thanks for the pdf i hadn't read it.
I tried to download the CFIS from the net as instructed, it went through he process but nothing has changed, the NFS line is still greyed out so i am unable to change to CFIS.
Is there a file i can add manually?

Thanks im making progress now. I have extracted the CFIS and placed the folders in the tmp file(folders or content of folders?) but still no joy.
Im probably missing something real easy so do you have a step by step guide?

Still making progress, ive managed to ftp the CFIS and find it in the system modules add remove section. I have manually added it and its now disappeared from the install menu but nfs is still greyed out and unable to change to mount a CFIS, driving me mental now. Any ideals?

Easiest method is just to simply use Movie Player and play file using VLC. You dont need to worry about CIFS/NFS etc. Plent of guides around how to do this.
