If the sagem is the same chip type as the Nokia
    Just backup the nokia image
And reflash it to the sagem .............Paul

Then you'd better list the exact files you've added, which folder paths you've added them to, and which files you've chmodded to 755.

Then we can analyse what you might have missed, can't we?

        Cheers- AL

Yes I just added var bin emu. Var keys files. Chmodded the evocamd and mgcamd then also chmodded libcrypto.so.0.9.7 file.

If you don't see evocamd and mgcamd in the SoftCam Menu, then you have NOT ftp'd these to the correct /var/bin/emu/ folder, m8!

                No arguments, 100% definate.

Have a look via FTP and you'll find that you've done summat dopey, like:

/var/bin/emu/emu/ (or even better) /var/bin/emu/var/bin/emu/ LOL!

Do please report back on what your mistake was, so others can learn from it to... And when you sort it, remember NEVER have both cams ON - it's one or the other at any one time.

                Cheers- AL

I think it's a lot easier if peeps use the 'real magic' files, from here:
                    Code:

                    www.mercs.us/Tools.htm
The reason I say this, having just looked at that rar file, is that whoever compiled it, obviously tried to make it fool-proof for newbies.

For example, the cams folder in there is not a 'proper' folder path, like /var/bin/emu - but he's made it var_bin_emu which to me, looks like he's trying to lead you down the right PATH to send the contents, LOL!

Whereas a 'real' folder path could easily lead to a 'double-path' scenario, like you've experienced. I also noted 0 byte 'hint' files in there, like this one in the var_bin_emu 'folder':

                    chmod_these_to_755.txt

and another one in the var_keys 'folder':

                    chmod_755_NOT_needed_on_these_files.txt

So it all looks as helpful as it can possibly get, without someone actually popping round your house and doing it for you, LOL!

I'd like to pat him on the back, whoever he is or was..
